Who Wore It Better: DBSK's Changmin vs Yoon Sang Hyun

This fall, trenchcoats are very trendy in men’s fashion. Although seen more often on women, trenchcoat designs are altered for a more masculine fit to give men a mysterious yet chic look.

DBSK‘s Changmin and actor Yoon Sang Hyun were both seen wearing the same item. On November 10, Changmin wore it to the K-Pop Music Festival in Sydney as an airport fashion item, and Yoon Sang Hyun wore it on the set of MBC‘s “Cant Lose” (also “Can’t Live With Losing).

The interesting leather patched trenchcoat is an item from Jill Stewart New York. With a light beige color, it has a leather patch that is a tad darker than the canvas beige. White stitches are incorporated into the jacket everywhere, with black buttons for a nice color contrast. The coat is priced at around $1,100 (USD).

Changmin gives the feel of a Parisian man, looking very fashionable and laid back. Changmin paired his trenchcoat with a pair of dark denim jeans. Underneath the coat, he wore a grey round neck t-shirt, giving off a simple yet sophisticated look. He completed the look with a dark brown alligator print messenger bag.

On the other hand, Yoon Sang Hyun looks like an autumn man. Like Changmin, he opted for the jeans for a casual feel. Sang Hyun chose a two tone khaki muffler to cover his neck against the cold. His hair is trimmed neatly, showing off the outline of his face.

Because both stars dressed their trenchcoats in similar ways, the biggest factor in setting the mood for the look is the hairstyle. Changmin’s long bangs, which are parted deeply to the side, cover a side of his face, giving a mysterious look. Yoon Sang Hyun has a shorter cut with no parting, giving off a nice finish.

Who do you think pulled this look off better?
