After School's Jooyeon Discharged from the Hospital

After School‘s Jooyeon was previously admitted to the hospital for acute nephritis after experiencing pain following the rehearsals for an awards show on November 21.

Fortunately, it has just been revealed that she has recovered enough to be discharged and return to the group’s activities.

Officials of Pledis Entertainment disclosed, “Jooyeon will be getting discharged from the hospital this week, and is currently preparing to jump back into activities. She’ll be returning back on schedule starting with the group’s Japanese promotions.”

Jooyeon will be joining After School for their second Japanese single “Diva” promotions. Pledis Entertainment is currently in discussion as to whether it will be safe to have her perform for the “Happy Pledis” album on KBS‘s “Music Bank” on December 2. Regardless, fans will be able to see her back with the group shortly.

“The treatment requires simple medication and ample rest so we ask that fans rest assured. She’s resting right now but she’ll be back this weekend for the Japanese activities,” officials revealed.
