Penomeco Involved In Car Accident, Experiences Minor Injuries

Rapper Penomeco has been involved in a car accident.

On October 21, Penomeco posted a photo of him in a neck brace along with news of the car accident in a now-deleted Instagram post.

According to his agency Million Market, Penomeco was headed home after a scheduled event when he was involved in a six-car rear-end collision. He experienced neck pain and immediately went to the hospital. His injuries are described as minor, and he has canceled all scheduled events to rest.

A source from the agency said, “At the time of the accident, Penomeco complained of neck pain due to the shock of being rear-ended and immediately went to the hospital to undergo tests. He’s currently wearing a neck brace. He plans to rest for some time although it wasn’t a serious injury.”

About the car accident, the source explained, “He was in the fifth car amongst the cars involved in the accident. On the way to Seoul after completing an out-of-town event, the car in front of him suddenly stopped so his car quickly stopped. The car behind us also quickly stopped, but the distance was short and a collision occurred. We will focus on treatment so that the artist can recover his health.”

Penomeco appeared on Mnet’s “Show Me the Money 6” and is well-known as a member of hip hop crew FANXY CHILD which also includes Block B’s Zico, Crush, Dean, Millic, and Stay Tuned. He has also worked as a songwriter for tracks such as EXO’s “Tempo” and Chanyeol and Sehun’s SM STATION track “We Young.”
