Kim Kook Heon And Song Yu Vin Reveal Official Duo Name

Kim Kook Heon and Song Yu Vin, who made their debut as a duo on August 24 with “Blurry,” have taken on the official name “B.O.Y”!

The Music Works Entertainment announced the decision on November 12, saying, “Kim Kook Heon and Song Yu Vin will be forming [the duo] B.O.Y (B. Of You).”

The name was selected from among 2000 fan submissions, and means both “Best Of You” (that to somebody, you are the best) and “Both Of You” (“Both” meaning “Kook Heon and Yu Vin” and “B.O.Y and fans”).

A source from the agency said, “Kim Kook Heon and Song Yu Vin are practicing night and day with the goal of holding a mini concert at the end of this year and putting their official first foot forward [as B.O.Y] at the start of next year. We ask for your love and support for the two, who are making a new start as B. Of You.”

Kim Kook Heon and Song Yu Vin’s mini concert, which will be held on December 24 and 25, will feature performances of songs from the duo’s mini album to be released next year.
