January Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups, using big data collected from December 3 to January 4.
BTS kicked off the new year by topping the list for the 20th consecutive month. The group earned a brand reputation index of 20,762,036 for January, marking an impressive 70.42 percent increase in their score since last month.
High-ranking phrases in BTS’s keyword analysis included “New York,” “CNN,” and “Billboard,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “enjoy,” “cool,” and “thankful.” The group’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 75.09 percent positive reactions.
EXO also held onto their spot at second place in the rankings this month with a total brand reputation index of 4,484,865. Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN rose to third place after seeing a 37.02 rise in their score since December, earning a total brand reputation index of 3,144,646 for the month.
NU’EST also saw a 44.88 increase in their brand reputation index, bringing them to fourth place with a total score of 2,586,334 for January. Finally, NCT came in at a close fifth with a brand reputation index of 2,434,275 for the month.
