VICTON has announced the postponement of their upcoming comeback.

On November 20, VICTON participated in a recording with an external staff member who later tested positive for COVID-19. The VICTON members and Play M Entertainment staff members were tested for the virus, and everyone received negative results. The members have been in self-quarantine since they were notified of the external staff member’s positive results.

Play M Entertainment released a new statement about their decision to postpone the release of VICTON’s first full album “VOICE: The future is now,” which was originally scheduled for release on December 1. The agency stated, “In addition to this incident, there have been several difficulties including schedule changes as the social distancing level was raised to level 2 following the spike in COVID-19 cases. We have inevitably decided to delay the album’s release.”

On November 22, the agency was informed that an external staff member who had participated in a promotional activity with VICTON on November 20 had tested positive for COVID-19.

The following day, all seven members of VICTON and five Play M Entertainment staff members were tested for COVID-19, and they all received negative test results on November 24.

Hello. This is Play M Entertainment.

Regarding VICTON’s scheduled event that took place on November 20, we received notice around the night of November 22 that one external staff member, who participated in filming content for 1theK, tested positive for COVID-19.

On November 23, all seven members and five Play M Entertainment staff members involved were tested, and they all received negative test results today on November 24.

At the time on November 20, the work was carried out while obeying safety regulations for level 1.5 social distancing.

Until the epidemiological investigation results of the confirmed patient they crossed paths with are released, the members and staff will be in self-quarantine in case of any possible danger.

We will deliver information regarding the state of our artists and staff as well as their scheduled activities once more in the future.

We apologize for causing concern to many people.
