"Good Partner" Stars Jang Nara And Nam Ji Hyun Showcase Sisterly Chemistry

“Good Partner” stars Jang Nara and Nam Ji Hyun joined ELLE Korea for a pictorial and interview!

“Good Partner” is an office and law drama about star lawyer Cha Eun Kyung (Jang Nara), for whom divorce is her calling, and rookie lawyer Han Yu Ri (Nam Ji Hyun), who is new to divorce.

The photo shoot focused on capturing a cheerful atmosphere and chemistry between Jang Nara and Nam Ji Hyun as if the two go on vacation together away from the lawyers’ office.

In an interview that followed the photo shoot, Nam Ji Hyun shared, “The script reads well. Unlike other trials, domestic trials such as divorce often require meeting clients in person. There are quite a few dramas that feature lawyers, but our drama has its fun in that [viewers] can meet divorce lawyers as professionals.”

“Good Partner” is penned by divorce specialist lawyer Choi Yu Na of the relatable Instagram cartoon “Marriage Red” (literal title). When asked if lawyer Choi Yu Na gave her any special tips, Jang Nara shared, “I got a lot of specific advice from writer Choi Yu Na about the professionalism of the job and the language of lawyers.”

Jang Nara shared that she tried to follow lawyer Choi Yu Na’s Instagram before the casting news was out, but she saw the description “divorce lawyer” written on her profile, saying, “I got married only recently, so I was seriously worried about being misunderstood.” She added, “It was the first time I’ve waited so long for an official casting announcement to be out,” drawing laughter on set.
