Kim Da Mi, Son Suk Ku, And More Get Caught Up In A Decade-Old Murder Mystery In New Drama “Nine Puzzles”
Upcoming Disney+ drama “Nine Puzzles” has unveiled new stills featuring its cast!
“Nine Puzzles” is a mystery thriller that follows the story of profiler Yoon Yi Na (Kim Da Mi), who was the only witness of an unresolved case from 10 years ago, and detective Kim Han Saem (Son Suk Ku), who still believers her to be a suspect, as they unearth the secrets of a serial murder case that begins with a mysterious puzzle piece.
The newly released stills showcase nine images that highlight the fresh chemistry between the characters and the intense storyline as they investigate a serial murder case resurfacing after a decade.
Eagle-eyed viewers may also spot elements from the previously released poster. These visual clues are scattered throughout the stills, adding an extra layer of mystery and drawing audiences deeper into the puzzle.
In one still, high school student Yi Na is shown moments before discovering the scene of a murder that took place 10 years earlier. Her uneasy facial expression sets a foreboding tone, like the calm before a storm.
Detective Han Saem, a member of the Violent Crimes Unit, has closely observed Yi Na for the past decade. Ever since Yi Na lost her memory of that night, he has considered her a prime suspect. His intense gaze raises curiosity about the truth behind what really happened.
The two characters, now a profiler and a detective 10 years after their initial encounter as a suspect and investigator, share unique chemistry. Their evolving relationship is expected to captivate viewers in ways never seen before.
As the serial murder case resurfaces, Yi Na’s confused facial expression while staring at the mysterious puzzle pieces sparks questions about who sent them and why, deepening the mystery.
Meanwhile, detectives at Han River Police Station including Han Saem, Yang Jung Ho (Kim Sung Kyun), the head of Violent Crimes Unit 2, and Choi San (Hyun Bong Sik), the newest member of the team, come together to investigate a mysterious red suitcase.
The drama brings together a powerful cast including Kim Da Mi, Son Suk Ku, Kim Sung Kyun, and Hyun Bong Sik. With a compelling ensemble performance and an intricate plot, the series is set to deliver an immersive and thrilling experience.
The first six episodes of “Nine Puzzles” will premiere on May 21, followed by three more on May 28. The final two episodes will be released on June 4, for a total of 11 episodes.
