Biography.
Cho Shing Sung, meaning "Supernova" in Korean, is an idol band made up of six good-looking and talented boys who have undergone extensive vocal, dancing, and acting training before their debut. In order to set themselves apart from the other groups out there, Cho Shin Sung prefer to sport a more formal look to enhance their masculine appeal.

The group debuted with their first single, "Hit", in September 2007. "Hit" is a powerful dance number and was written by Cho Young Soo, usually a guarantee of popularity and success. The group quickly followed that up a month later with their first album, "Beautiful Stardust". The album features a wide range of songs, from powerful dance music (Hit) to romantic and playful (Good-bye). Their first album garnered a huge response from women in their teens and 20s, which sent the songs up the charts in the first week of release. The group also made headlines with their big-budget blockbuster music video, starring singer/actress Yoo Jin and directed by Cha Eun Taek.

The six boys have come back with a new digital single, "2008 Love Song Choshinsung." The 2088 Love Songs project included a number of big-name Korean singers, including SG Wannabe, F.T. Island, See Ya, and Shin Hye Sung. Cho Shin performed "Superstar" - an upbeat dance song - for the project album and will take part in the "Love Songs 2008 Premium Concert" to be held in Saitama Super Arena in Japan in June.
