Blood means nothing and I hate it when people try to place such a huge emphasis on it. Blood doesn't raise you, blood doesn't teach you right from wrong, blood doesn't listen, blood doesn't change. Blood is just the red or blue stuff that propels your physical body foreward through time. It's nothing else. It doesn't make you better than others and it doesn't make you worse. It doesn't give you the right to patronize and it doesn't give you the right to feel sorry about yourself. I'm sick of people lecturing me about my "real" history and the "real" people of my history who have been so absent that there isn't even a shadow of remembrance. You're an idiot if you believe in that association. It was so much less real than anything that I've even experienced in a dream or nightmare.
I don't have anything else to say. »

Blood does have significant meaning to some people just as much as it doesn't to you. (But wasn't it blood that led you here to South Korea?) It's wrong of others to tell you that blood is real for you, but I think it's also unfair to call people idiots for their different values.
...But anyway, I'm another one of your silent readers. Thanks for your informative information and fun stories!
As a fellow English teacher, I look forward to more stories about your students!

girl, you know better than to listen to whoever tries to tell you different than everything you listed up there. your life is what you make of it, not what blood is in your veins. don't let them get you down. stand up for what you know~
