2008 NEW YORK KOREAN FILM FESTIVAL SHORT FILM COMPETITION CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS The New York Korean Film Festival's annual short film competition is back for 2008 and we are looking for the best Korean American or Korea-related short films on offer. If you are a Korean American filmmaker, or an artist whose short film deals with a subject relevant to Korea, you are invited to submit your work to us. All films selected for screening and competition will receive an official New York Korean Film Festival trophy. All selected filmmakers will have the opportunity to personally introduce their work to the audience, and promote their film at one of the largest Asian American film festivals in the country. The best short film in competition will receive a $1000 prize. The runner-up will receive $500. Submit your film by the early deadline (May 30, 2008) or the late deadline (June 30, 2008), but be sure to submit it! For all inquiries, please e-mail shortfilm@koreanfilmfestival.org.
