Ko Soo : A Versatile South Korean Television, Movie & Theatrical Actor

After graduating from high school but before attending University, Ko Soo travelled to
Seoul to find his fortune.

He was first seen in a softdrink TV commercial where he waits for his girlfriend in a curfew.

In 1998 he appeared as an extra in a music video titled Last Promise & the band known as 'POSITION'.

He appeared on television in 1999 - his handsome appearance and cute smile reminded the audience of Cho Hyeon Jae and Ji Sung.

When he appeared in SBS 2001 drama PIANO [ 피아노 ] he drew critical praise when one review described him as an "actor with precision".

He plays the son of a poor rice cake house and works to pay off his father's debt in SBS 2003 drama
MY FAIR LADY [ 요조숙녀 ]

Ko Soo had his first movie hit in 2004 as a drug crime officer in SOME (the first film in which he performed his own stunts.)

In 2005, he starred in action-packed TV series GREEN ROSE [ 그린로즈 ].
Playing a simple man who falls in love with a wealthy lady. He was later accused of a crime which he didn’t commit.
GREEN ROSE was shot in both China and South Korea.

He won 2005 SBS Best Actor Awards & 2005 SBS Popularity Award for GREEN ROSE .

In the same year (2005) - Ko Soo also received the New Star Award at the 42nd Daejong Festival.

His latest drama was a romantic-comedy [SBS 2005] MARRY A MILLIONAIRE[ 백만장자와 결혼하기 ] .
In this drama he portrays the character of beef soup delivery man who was later invited by a TV producer
to pretend to be a millionaire and woo women with his good looks in the TV Reality Show.

By conveying his love and appreciation to his fans, KoSoo personally edited 14 poems & did the Poem Recital for his album I WILL BE HAPPY just before he was enlisted in the Military.

Ko Soo started his military service on March 2nd, 2006 and he had been assigned as a Civil Service Personnel in Gang Nam District, Seoul.

On April 25th, 2008 - Ko Soo was discharged from the Military and he received recognition for being an outstanding Public Interest Service Personnel. After 26 months KoSoo had returned & already resume acting.

i really love seeing them with soo ah (le dae haye.)but i'm just wondering if who's the love of his life? i enthusiastically want to know..since i watched his video (green rose), i really couldn't fall asleep.. 'imagining if when would be i found someone like him?

Ko soo, is indeed a versatile actor who can portray different roles and can attract the televiewers with his charm, his expressive eyes, and his very cute smile...

Hi! guys... if you have the video when a man loves a woman, i'm asking a favor to please upload it.... I've been looking for the video but unfortunately I can't find one. I really want to finish the entire story ('coz on you tube it was up to episode 6 only....) if you happened to have the video with an english subtitle please upload. it would very much appreciated.

i love ko soo's personality...i think he's a versatile actor, he can portray any kind of role in his dramas even in his movies...he is definitely a big contribution in korean industry...when you look into his eyes, its says something that even without telling it you will get it..he's one who own a romantic looks, a very attractive eyes that every woman will adore...he is now 29 years old, just imagining who's the lucky girl who captured his heart because i know that ko soo is not married yet...ryt!!anyone here who knows about ko soo's love life? can we discuss about it???hehe i'm just curious..

I really am a great fan of Ko Soo

I have watched a lot of korean dramas & he is one who truly catched my attention.... seriously....

I love his eyes & his smile...looking through his eyes & the eye expression while acting, shows the emotion of the character he is portraying and that is a BIG factor for an actor to do, because it's not only how you do or portray it but the true emotion your are giving in reflects a lot and eye expression is one.

Also I can really see that he is a kind, nice and warm person

I hope when he comes back from his duty, he will do great dramas and movies again...exciting...can't wait to see them

I'd love to see him act and do dramas with Lee Da Hae, like with Green Rose...that was a good one...good job for both of you. And I think both of them can make a great pair because they are good actor & actress and each of them has a great personality.

I really notice Ko Soo in his role in To Marry A Millionaire, he was so handsome, from then I started downloading some of his photos to my mobile phone just to keep me inspired. Ko Soo, hope to see you here in the Philippines!!!! Love you!

It just started in " To marry a millionaire". actually, it is my friend who is watching the series then, i just take a look.. Then as i watched,it always made me smile... maybe because of the character he portrayed. He was so nice.....very nice that even he is not that smart on that class, there's still remaining in which you cannot resist... maybe it is his " attitude"..

My friend and i will be grateful to receive any latest news about ko soo.

In addition with that, i couldn't imagine, i'm also starting to look over all his movies made before he enter the military service!!!

The thing that so interesting is to know is - his profile... He is a Christian!!! He has the heart of serving --- that's adorable!!

I started liking his charm and acting when i've finished watching the "Marrying a Millionaire' and others. I was hoping that he will repeat working with his leading lady coz' i found it so interesting and really gave justice on their respective roles and entirely caught my interest aside from the fact that the story was quite great to imagine... I wish that you could make more tv series, movies, and others which I can enjoy watching with my friends... Good luck and more power...

I'm just a new member of this club.Honestly, I don't really watch Korean novela but after this 3 series of Korean's TV drama, namely: Green Rose, Marry a millionaire and My Fair Lady, everything has changed. What i really liked about these movie was the content of the story and the message that wants to show to the audience. Hope that Go Soo will read this simple message coz i learned a lot of his movie specially to become strong and not to give up in any problems as long as we tried to do our best to fulfill our goals. It does'nt matter whether you are rich or poor but make sure that we always focus on what we are doing and give all our strenght to make it colourful. Imagine! one of the movie is liked a young man who was trying to pay his father's debt on his own way and sold his life just to make sure that he can pay back all the money. I know that this is just a movie but who knows it could happen to any one. I'm not saying that my life could be the same as the story but after i finished watching his 3 TV series, i feel that I will get something on it to persue my dreams, just like inspiration to make my dreams come true.He is a good actor so he will become one of the famous actor in Korea

Fell for him when i first saw him in Piano, after that i just had to buy whatever movie or drama he's been in, i love them all, but Green Rose is my favourite. Not much longer for his return huh, miss him so much.

I started loving Ko Soo since I watched "Age of Innocence", even I watched all his other series. But I still come back to watch Age of innocence many times until now. I luv his cute smile. Miss him so much.

ko soo is my frist crush.Since then, i am indulging myself so much with him. He becomes a part of my daily life.There is not a day that i do not surf internet, searching for news and watching his videos.
