Twelve members, excluding Kyuhyun who was recovering from a previous car accideent, appeared in the group's debut film Attack on the Pin-Up Boys premiered on July 26, 2007 in Korea. This is the first film released by SM Pictures, a subsidiary of SM Entertainment.^[63] Attack of the Pin-Up Boys was promoted as a high school mystery comedy, where Kibum, the student investigator and narrator of the story, blogs about mysterious consecutive terror attacks that happened in various high schools which made the popular flower boys at Neulparan High School, Siwon, Heechul, and Kang-In, to be expected victims for the next attack.

The film did better than expected in box office sales. Despite unexpected success in the box office of the film's premiere week, the film has failed to attract no more than 100,000 audiences.^[64] Nonetheless, SM Pictures is still making an effort to promote the film and to succeed in breaking through the film industry.^[65] The company and Super Junior attended the 12th annual Pusan Film Festival on October 4, 2007, and organized an opening ceremony, "SM Night." Previously, only SidusHQ and Namooactors, two of South Korea's top film producers, has contributed in the festival's opening ceremony.^[66]

A soundtrack was released along with the DVD a month after the film's national premiere. Super Junior performed "Wonder Boy", which became the promo single for the film. A solo by Yesung, "Are you ready?" is also featured in the soundtrack.
