4minute's HyunA Apologizes for Lip Sync Controversy

Girl group 4minute’s HyunA has apologized for her lip sync controversy.

On April 17, an official from Cube Entertainment stated, “There were various issues during the pre-recording. We will try to refrain from making any of these mistakes again.”

4minute had their comeback stage for KBS “Music Bank” on April 13 with their latest song, “Volume Up.”

However, HyunA received many complaints from netizens for focusing mainly on her dance moves and failing to at least try pretending to sing her part in live. Because 4minute’s comeback stage was a pre-recorded stage, numerous netizens raised eyebrows since the recording was still aired even after knowing HyunA’s mistake.

The official emphasized, “HyunA herself is apologetic and she will give much effort to show a better performance.”
