Airport Styles of SNSD, Wonder Girls, and 2PM

Anyone who happened to be at Incheon International Airport today might have had enough K-Pop star sightings to last a lifetime!  This is because MBC is celebrating its 50th anniversary on March 12 in Bangkok by holding an epic concert.  And when we say epic, we mean EPIC.  Imagine attending a concert with the following lineup: DBSK, SNSD, Wonder Girls, 2PM, Secret, Brown-Eyed Girls, miss A, BEAST, CN Blue, FT Island, 4minute, T-Ara, After School, and SISTAR, amongst others.  Yes, that’s really who’s performing.  I’d freak out, and I bet you would too!  (Just in case you were wondering about the few omissions out there: KARA was scheduled to perform but had to pull out due to their contract disputes, while Big Bang was unable to perform due to their busy comeback schedule, and Super Junior had similar issues due to Super Junior M’s comeback.)

Okay, but we’re not here to talk about the concert just yet.  (I mean, it hasn’t even happened, right?)  What we are here to talk about is that several of these groups have been walking through the airport, clad in casual airport chic, clutching their green Korean passports, and waving and smiling at all the reporters lined up to see them off.  And we’re going to do it differently now.  We already posted one set of pictures showing SNSD, but when we see the other groups, we think it makes a more interesting article to put everything in perspective together.  This way, you can compare the different styles these groups all have.  Yes, they manage to exude their image even just going to the airport!  Amazing, isn’t it?  So here we go:

Wonder Girls: colorful (okay, except for Sohee and Lim), offbeat, casual.  Sunye’s Paul Frank laptop sleeve is so cute!  Sohee continues to further cement her image as the slightly mysterious one by hiding behind dark shades and wearing head-to-toe black, and Yoobin displays her originality by pairing a long skirt with sneakers and colorful accessories.  Ye Eun is still blonde (we weren’t sure if we liked it at first, but it’s been growing on us), and Lim… well, she keeps it down to earth.  There’s no rule that you should look like a fashion plate when you’re tired and traveling, after all. 

SNSD: sophisticated, casual, chic.  YoonA, Yuri, Seohyun, Tiffany, Sunny, and Seohyun brought it on with neutral khakis, creams, and olives, while Jessica and Sooyoung show off a slightly more urban style.  (It may just be us, but it seems like Sooyoung seems to dress the edgiest out of the girls!)  Instead of lots of scarves, hats, and jewelry, these girls know that the best accessory is a blinding-white smile!

2PM: The only way we can describe it is… “Clothes That Only a K-Pop Idol Could Pull Off”.  Well, except Taecyeon, whose understated outfit really suits his cool good looks.  But Junsu’s bright yellow hoodie with those major brand name accessories, Wooyoung’s metallic green puffy jacket, and Nichkhun’s bi-color sweater pretty much scream “I’m in a boy band!”
