Girls’ Generation to Perform at F1 Concert in Malaysia
Girls’ Generation will make its debut in Malaysia at the Twin Towers@Live 2012 concert on Friday. Set to take place at the base of Kuala Lumpur’s iconic Petronas Twin Towers, the free-to-public event will be organised and managed by JoJo Events. They are appointed as the concert management consultant.
The K-pop sensation will be joined by Nicole Scherzinger, the former lead singer of the sizzling Pussycat Dolls.
The American singer, songwriter, dancer, record producer, model and actress is returning to Malaysia for her first performance here as a solo singer.
The show replaces the aborted F1 Rocks entertainment extravaganza, following the cancelled appearance of Australian pop diva Kylie Minogue over an alleged contractual dispute between Petronas, the chief organiser of the Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix, and Enterprise Entertainment Ltd, the London-based company who owns the F1 Rocks franchise.
For more girl power, Scherzinger will be joined by an award-winning American R&B star Kelis at the concert.
The event which is free to the public will also feature Malaysian acts James Baum, Reshmonu, Faizal Tahir among others. An estimated 70,000 crowd is expected at the Malaysian F1 concert.
