"Heartstrings" Releases Jung Yong Hwa & So Yi Hyun Teaser Stills
Upcoming drama “Heartstrings” released teaser stills of CNBlue’s Jung Yong Hwa and So Yi Hyun. Actress So Yi Hyun plays Jung Yoon Soo, a beautiful ballet professor and Lee Shin’s (Jung Yong Hwa) first love. While Lee Shin is a snobby, prickly guitar prodigy whose life revolves around his music, he’s changes 180 degrees into a sweet and tender puppy when he’s in front of Yoon Soo.
Jung Yong Hwa stated, “One of the things I have in common with my character, Lee Shin, is that we believe that age is only a number when it comes to love. Despite the age difference, he’s still very much in love with Yoon Soo, and I tried to portray Lee Shin in the softest and most romantic way possible whenever he’s around her.”
So Yi Hyun added, “Whenever the cameras are off, Jung Yong Hwa is like a mischievous little brother. But once the cameras start rolling, he’s very professional and ready. He’s very mature and manly. And thanks to him, I’m able to fully focus my emotions and acting to fit my character.”
The drama is full of young and beautiful cast; and they also include Park Shin Hye, Song Chang Ui, Woori, and fellow CNBlue member Kang Min Hyuk. Melodrama “Heartstrings” is about young love, friendships, and dreams. It’s a family friendly drama that can be enjoyed by viewers of any age and is produced by director Pyo Min Soo, the mastermind behind sensational drama “Full House” (2004), starring Rain (aka Jung Ji Hoon) and Song Hye Kyo. “Heartstrings” will premiere June 29th on MBC following “The Greatest Love.”
