Jang Gi Ha and the Faces Receive Japanese Award

Jang Gi Ha received a meaningful award at the Japanese year-end music awards.

Jang Gi Ha and the Faces’ album “I’m Living Without Much Going On” was released on November of 2010 and received the “Editor’s choice” awards for the Japanese Ototoi website “Otoitoi Awards.”

The Editor’s choice award itself is self-explanatory. Jang Gi Ha and the Faces were picked by people in the Japanese music industry. However, this achievement is obviously a result of Jang Gi Ha and the Faces’ popularity in Japan, they had a sold out concert in Japan which left a good impression.

The award itself was given to him this January however he did not share the information until now, his twitter read “We received a reward from the Otoitoi Awards. The trophy has just arrived.”

Currently Jang Gi Ha and the Faces are working on their second album. This album is produced by Jang Ki Ha, Ha Se Gi (The guitarist for Kim Chang Wan’s band) and Yoe Hae Yi.
