JYJ’s Yoochun Voted “Most Popular Actor in Asia” for 2011 Seoul Drama Awards
JYJ’s Yoochun was voted as the “Most Popular Actor in Asia” for the 2011 Seoul Drama Awards. According to an online poll conducted by Yahoo Korea, Yoochun received 480,000 votes, topping 115 other nominees for the award that will be given at the 2011 Seoul Drama Awards on August 31st.
Jang Geun Suk from KBS drama “Mary Stayed Out” placed second followed by Kim Jae Won from MBC drama “Can You Hear My Heart?” at third. For the “Most Popular Actress Award,” Moon Geun Young ranked #1, followed by Park Min Young and Ha Ji Won, respectively.
The 2011 Seoul Drama Awards will be broadcast live on SBS on August 31st. Yoochun starred in 2010 KBS drama “Sungkyunkwan Scandal,” which landed him the “Rookie of the Year Award,” “Netizens Award,” and “Best Couple Award” at the 2010 KBS Drama Awards ceremony. In 2011, he appeared in MBC drama “Miss Ripley” as one of the main cast.
