Kim Yuna Voted as the Person the Public Hopes Would Survive an Apocalypse
Vanishing opened in theaters throughout Korea last Thursday, and Yes24 (similar to America’s fandango) conducted a poll that asked viewers to vote which public figure they would most likely want to survive an apocalypse. The poll was opened for eight days between March 28th and April 4rth. Guess who won? First place went to none other than figure skating queen Kim Yuna with 35% of the votes. Kim Yuna is the 2010 Olympic champion in figure skating and has overcome many hardships and obstacles before becoming Queen Yuna.
Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, narrowly lost to Kim Yuna with 34% of the votes. Soccer player Park Ji Sung, who currently plays for Manchester United, came in third with 23%. Fourth place went to President Barack Obama of the United States.

Kim Yuna’s English Biography to be Published
An English biography about figure skating queen Kim Yu Na by will be published in the United States. Author Christine Dzidrums has already written a children’s biography about Canadian figure skater Joannie Rochette, and her next book will chronicle Yuna Kim’s life. The biography is titled Yuna Kim: Ice Queen and will be released this summer.
Christine Dzidrum stated, “At first, I was a bit weary about writing a non-fiction, but Olympic Champion Yuna Kim helped me break out of my shell. Her charms intrigued me, and I had a lot of fun researching her. I’m a big fan of hers.”
