Lee Hyori to Make First Variety Show Appearance in 2 Years

Lee Hyori will make her return on the small screen.

The singer will make a special appearance as a guest on KBS 2TV’s variety show “Happy Together” season 3 on the 10th anniversary special episode of the show. During a phone conversation between Lee Hyori and Uhm Jung Hwa on a recent episode of “Happy Together,” Yoo Jae Suk told Lee Hyori, “I want to see you in a variety show, you’re not busy these days so come out!”

Lee Hyori replied, “I’m busy.” She then added, “I have to find dogs in the neighborhood too.”

Nevertheless, Lee Hyori let out a hint when she said “Two years have passed and I have a lot to reveal.” She was referring to the upcoming 10 years special episode of the show.

Lee Hyori has been off the screen for two years, and this will mark her first TV appearance since her plagiarism case for her fourth album, “H-Logic.” Lee Hyori also complimented her friend actress Uhm Jung Hwa who was guest-starring on the show. She said, “She is a senior who is easy to be around with” and “She acts cute a little too much,” causing laughter in the studio.
