Lim Joo Hwan Reports for Military Duty

Lim Joo Hwan reported for his two-year mandatory military service on May 17.  The 29-year-old actor met with reporters and fans to say goodbye outside the gates of the Nonsan training camp in South Chungcheong Province.  Lim wore a black jacket and cap, but he doffed the cap to display his new military haircut.

Also present at the farewell were Lim Joo Hwan’s friends Song Joong Ki and Kim Ki Bang.  The group posed for photos together, and Song Joong Ki also joined the photographers, snapping some shots of his friend.

Lim Joo Hwan, who most famously appeared in dramas such as “Boys Over Flowers”, “Tamra the Island” and “Snow Queen”, enlisted in the military as an active-duty soldier.  He will undergo five weeks of basic military training at Nonsan before commencing duty.  Goodbye for now, Lim Joo Hwan!  We will see you soon!
