The Girls' Generation Finish a Successful Asian Tour, Total Audience of 230,000
The Girls’ Generation finished their Asian tour which was a success. They had the highest number for audiences out of Korean girl groups.
Last year on May 31 2011, they had 14 concerts in 6 Japanese cities: Osaka, Saitama, Tokyo, Hiroshima, Nagoya, and Fukuoka. Then they held 23 concerts across Seoul, Taipei, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Bangkok. In total the Girls’ Generation had 230,000 viewers for their whole tour.
The finale for their Asian tour was held at Bangkok, Thailand’s Impact Arena on February 12. They sang all of their hit songs which made a total of 32 songs, and mesmerized 11,000 fans.
The Girls’ Generation made a statement about finishing their Asian tour, “It was a very valuable time where we were happy due to feeling the hot love from fans.”
The Girls’ Generation returned to South Korea on February 13.
