The Release of SM Entertainment's Documentary "I AM" Delayed

After the press premiere of the SME documentary, “I AM” had been cancelled, it has also been reported that the release of the film has been delayed as well.

“I AM” was set to be released in theaters on May 10. However, the delay was announced by CJ Entertainment on May 8.

Due to the vast array of different clips from the New York concert to artists’ interviews to the past archived clips, the editing process seems to be more difficult than usual. 

News agencies report that although the film is still being edited, the process is almost completed and a new release date will be announced soon. Sources from “I AM” expressed a regretful and apologetic heart for this delay.

“I AM” is a compilation of 4,824 clips of the SME artists. Starting from their audition tapes, to their trainee days, to their debut and on, this documentary contains the sweat and tears of the history of SMTOWN.
