Tiffany Talks about Girls' Generation's Lifespan
SM Entertainment’s Yunho, Changmin, Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, Tiffany, and Seohyun guested on yesterday’s episode of MBC “Joo Byung Jin’s Tak Concert,” where they shared their personal stories and worries. During the episode, Tiffany talked about her thought’s regarding Girls’ Generation’s lifespan.
Tiffany started, “When we debuted as Girls’ Generation, it’s true that I thought ‘we’ll probably only last five years.’ However, the more we worked together, the longer I wanted us to be together and stay as Girls’ Generation.” She continued, “It’s about time we aspire for solo careers, but we actually wanted to work with each other more.”
Seohyun added, “Many people believe that the lifespans for girl groups are really short. However, Girls’ Generation wants to break that belief.”
Meanwhile, Girls’ Generation debuted in 2007. This year marks the “idol group’s five-year lifespan jinx” for Girls’ Generation. However, Girls’ Generation is still stronger than ever, much to everyone’s relief. Currently, Tiffany and Seohyun are part of Girls’ Generation’s subunit TaeTiSeo with Taeyeon.
