Announcer Kim Jung Geun Talks About A Time He Fought With His Wife Because Of IU

During the June 20 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “1 vs. 100,” announcer Kim Jung Geun recalled a time when he got into a fight with his wife Lee Ji Ae.

“I first saw IU when she was on ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook.’ Her songs were really good so I sang along while watching her on TV. Lee Ji Ae then got jealous and asked, ‘If you like her so much, why don’t you just live with her?’ This happened back when we were newlyweds so we just laughed it off,” Kim Jung Geun explained.

“The next day, however, we were driving somewhere and I unconsciously sang along to IU’s song again. Lee Ji Ae wasn’t very happy with this so we got into a fight. It took a really long time to reconcile with her,” he added.
