Kim Sang Gyun From "Produce 101 Season 2" Talks About His Adorable Friendship With Wanna One's Yoon Ji Sung

Kim Sang Gyun recently sat down for an interview to talk about his memorable time on “Produce 101 Season 2.”

When asked whether he had gotten close to any of the other trainees on the show, Kim Sang Gyun answered, “I was close to Yoon Ji Sung, but I got along with all the other MMO trainees as well because they were so cheerful.”

He was then asked who his No. 1 pick was among all the trainees, to which he wittily replied, “It’s me. I picked myself because I needed to survive. Yoon Ji Sung picked me, too.”

Kim Sang Gyun further shared, “I’m usually not the type of person to cry, but I cried when Yoon Ji Sung got into Wanna One. Because I knew how hardworking he was and how much pain he had gone through, I just couldn’t help but tear up. He looked after me a lot so I’m really thankful for him. Yoon Ji Sung and all the other MMO trainees have great personalities. I hope they all do well.”
