Former Seo Taiji And Boys Member Lee Juno Sentenced To Prison For Fraud And Indecent Assault

On June 30 at 10:30 a.m. KST, the Seoul Central District Court conducted the trial of Lee Juno on charges of committing fraud and indecent acts by force/compulsion. A year ago, the singer was accused of having sexually harassed two women in a club. Lee Juno was also accused of borrowing 165,000,000 won (approximately $140,000) each from “A” and “B” without repaying the loans.

As a result of the trial, the court sentenced Lee Juno to an imprisonment term for one year and six months, 40 hours of treatment at a program for sexual violence, and 10 years of having his personal information registered. However, in order to give the accused the opportunity to come to an agreement with the victims, the court did not issue an arrest warrant.

Lee Juno was recorded telling reporters that regardless of the other charges, he did not accept the accusations of indecent assault and would be conferring with his lawyer about an appeal.
