Music Platform Soribada To Hold Its First Ever Music Awards Show

Soribada will be holding its own music award show for the first time!

The digital music platform will be hosting 2017 1st SORIBADA BEST K-MUSIC AWARDS on September 20 at 6:30 p.m. KST.

Soribada, which was established in 2000, was the first digital music service in Korea and is still a very popular and well-recognized platform. Through this award show, they hope to bring the top artists together to help vitalize popular Korean music as well as help globalize K-pop to fans all over the world.

Songs released from September 2016 to August 2017 will be eligible for the awards. Criteria include Soribada’s internal data, online mobile votes from all across the world, and ratings from professional adjudicators and critics. Votes are slated to begin in July.

These awards will be broadcast live through TV and online and mobile channels.
