3 Reasons To Watch "School 2017" Tonight
After the success of “School 2013” and “Who Are You: School 2015,” anticipation for “School 2017” is higher than ever.
“School 2017” stars gugudan’s Kim Sejeong, Kim Jung Hyun, Jang Dong Yoon, Han Joo Wan, and Han Sun Hwa as the main characters and follows the students of Geumdo High School as they try to overcome the harsh reality of the world that only focuses on grades.

Director Park Jin Suk stated, “‘School 2017’ will deal with the educational problems and conflicts students face in 2017.” To reflect the today’s trends, the drama will show Ra Eun Ho (Kim Sejeong) attempting to get special admission into college with her ‘webtoon’. It will also deal with students’ hair and makeup now that Korean high schools’ regulations on hairstyles have been loosened. Also follow the story of a mysterious school hero and the teachers’ efforts to catch this ‘hero,’ as it will add to the fun of the drama.
3. Conveying the reality of school life
Since 1999, KBS’s “School” series has dealt with students’ worries and problems at school. For 18 years, the series accurately reflected how these worries and problems changed throughout the years, making viewers able to genuinely relate with the series. “School 2017” is expected to portray the realistic stories of school in the same way the series has been doing for years.
