EXO Surpasses Record-Breaking 800,000 In Preorders For 'The War' Album

EXO has done yet again!

According to reports and SM Entertainment on July 18, EXO’s upcoming fourth full length-album “The War” has marked 807,235 in preorders by store distributers. Beating out the previous record held by the group’s very own “EX’ACT” album, which recorded 660,180 in stock orders, EXO once again maintains the title of having the most preorders ever out of any K-pop artist.

Given how all three of EXO’s previous full-length albums have all sold over 1 million copies, earning the group the title of “triple million seller,” many are focused on seeing whether the group will gain the coveted title of being a “quadruple million seller.” This passionate response from the fans makes the possibility one step closer to becoming a reality.

Meanwhile, “The War” will be digitally available along with the music video for title track “KoKoBop” on July 18, at 6 p.m. KST, while the album will be released offline on July 19.

Congratulations to EXO on this huge honor!
