L.Joe Banned From Contacting Other Agencies Until Dispute With Former Agency Is Resolved

CEMA (Korea Entertainment Management Association) has restricted former Teen Top member L.Joe from contacting new agencies after his dispute with former agency TOP Media.

On July 31, the association released a statement that read, “We received a request for dispute mediation from TOP Media. Our disciplinary coordination ethics committee recognized the dispute as an important issue related to exclusive contracts in entertainment management.

“We considered all areas of the case comprehensively and carried out our deliberations based on the material and testimony submitted by TOP Media.”

CEMA went on to state, “We also requested L.Joe to testify at our disciplinary coordination ethics committee for fair deliberation,” and notified, “Until the legal dispute is resolved, L.Joe is banned from signing exclusive contracts or contacting third-party agencies.”

Meanwhile, L.Joe filed for a contract termination in February to part ways from TOP Media.
