Takada Kenta Names Two Trainees Who Gave Him Strength During 'Produce 101 Season 2'

Former “Produce 101 Season 2” contestant Takada Kenta recently featured in a photo shoot with fashion magazine, Gioami Korea. In the interview, he opened up about his journey so far of trying to become a K-Pop singer.

The 23-year-old shared, “After I learned about K-Pop my first year of high school, I started dreaming of becoming a singer. Then, I trained in Korea with the goal of debuting.”

Takada Kenta also thanked two contestants from “Produce 101 Season 2” during his interview, and said he relied on Jeong Sewoon and MXM’s Kim Dong Hyun the most during filming. He revealed that he felt a lot of pressure being the center for the first time during his group’s performance of INFINITE’s “Be Mine.” “However, Kim Dong Hyun and Jeong Sewoon gave me lots of encouragement and strength. I’m still thankful to those two,” Takada Kenta shared.
