2PM's Junho Opens Up About His Cat Passing Away + Dedicating A Song

On the September 2 broadcast of “2PM JUNHO X LieV” on V Live, 2PM’s Junho opened up on the backstory for his new song “Fine,” which he wrote for his late cat.

After playing a snippet, Junho explained, “It’s a song about my cat. I wanted to do the best that I could for him in this situation. I’m sorry that we didn’t have a lot of time together and I wanted to remember him for the rest of my life through the thing that I can do best.”

The singer continued, “As I wrote the song and made the music video, I actually cried a lot. Now that I think it, I feel that I’ve gone through [a period of] healing by singing this song and remembering him. I had really been missing him.”

Junho wrapped up the discussion, adding, “Thanks to the song, I have been able to heal and get better.”

Junho’s cat, Lambo (pictured below), passed away earlier this year in April.
