Kim Soo Hyun From "Produce 101" Cast In "Girls' Generation 1979"

Former “Produce 101” contestant Kim Soo Hyun will be making her debut as an actress!

On September 7, a source from her agency Mystic Entertainment announced that Kim Soo Hyun will be joining the cast of KBS’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Girls’ Generation 1979,” where she’ll be playing the role of a cheerful high school student named Kim Ki Ryeo.

“Girls’ Generation 1979” is a comedy romance drama that takes place in the late 1970s in Daegu. It centers around the stories of high school girls, starring Cosmic Girls’s Bona and actress Chae Seo Jin. CNBLUE’s Lee Jong Hyun is also part of the cast.
