Lee Jong Suk Talks About Recovering From His Slump And Surprising Yoon Kyun Sang

Actor Lee Jong Suk held a fan meeting with 3,000 fans on September 10 at Seoul Olympic Hall. Titled “Lee Jong Suk Private Stage Dream Like in Seoul,” the theme of the fan meeting was like being in a fantasy where fans meet and interact with Lee Jong Suk.

Lee Jong Suk told fans there were many preparations involved in this fan meeting. The actor performed a choreographed dance and ballad song, shared photos from his childhood, and played with a claw machine to win dolls for his fans.

Actor Yoon Kyun Sang, who told Lee Jong Suk he couldn’t make it because of his schedule, surprised Lee Jong Suk with his appearance and made him happy. Lee Jong Suk shared some details about the filming of tvN’s “Three Meals A Day” and said, “I spoke with PD Na Young Suk to surprise Yoon Kyun Sang with my appearance, but there’s a plot twist. Please check it out through the broadcast. I can’t say anymore or I’ll get in trouble.”

Co-stars from the SBS drama “While You Were Sleeping,” also appeared as guests at the fan meeting. Suzy, Jung Hae In, Go Sung Hee, and Shin Jae Ha sat down to talk with the actor, but were unfortunately unable to discuss the drama in order to avoid spoilers.

At the end of the fan meeting, Lee Jong Suk said, “I think my puberty is coming late. I was in a slump before filming the movie ‘V.I.P.’ I learned a lot from my seniors. I’m still recovering and most of it has been resolved,” then added, “When I meet my fans like this, it gives me the motivation to endure another year. I always thank you and love you.”
