"The Return of Superman" Will Not Be Airing This Week Due To KBS Strike

KBS 2TV’s popular variety show “The Return of Superman” will not be airing this week.

On September 15, a source from the show stated that they will not be airing a new episode on September 17. “This week’s broadcast will be substituted by special programs instead. We are currently discussing whether or not the show will be airing in the following weeks,” they said.

This is not the first KBS variety show to be affected by the ongoing strike, as the upcoming filming for “2 Days & 1 Night” as well as the scheduled recording for “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook” have both been cancelled.

Meanwhile, the KBS company-wide strike has been occurring since September 4, calling for the resignation of the president Ko Dae Young.
