Apink's Son Naeun Confirmed To Star In Upcoming Horror Film

Apink’s Son Naeun has made the decision to return to the big screen for the first time in five years by accepting a role in the upcoming movie “Woman’s Wail” (tentative title).

It was initially reported on September 17 that the idol had been offered the role. Plan A Entertainment has now confirmed that she will indeed take on the part and added, “With the decision made, we are currently in our final discussions on the finer details of her appearance in the film.”

“Woman’s Wail” is set to be a remake of the 1986 horror film of the same name. This will be Son Naeun’s first movie in five years since 2012’s “Marrying the Mafia V.” Though she has taken on supporting roles before, this will be her first time playing a major character in a film.

Actress Park Jin Hee is in talks to join Son Naeun, with Jellyfish Entertainment stating that the actress had been offered the role but has not made a final decision yet.

“Woman’s Wail” is currently aiming to open in the first half of 2018.
