BTS's "DNA" Becomes Fastest K-Pop Group MV To Hit 50 Million Views

BTS has broken another record as views continue to rise on the music video for their new song “DNA”!

On September 18 at 6 p.m. KST, BTS released the fun music video for their song “DNA,” which is the title track off their new mini album “Love Yourself: Her.”

It quickly broke records on YouTube by becoming the fastest K-pop group MV to reach 10 million views and 20 million views, and went on to set a new record for the most views on a K-pop group music video in 24 hours. It later became the fastest K-pop group MV to reach 30 million views, and then 40 million views.

As of September 24 at around 12:40 p.m. KST, the music video hit 50 million views on YouTube! It reached this milestone in just over 5 days and 18 hours, and thus set a new record as the fastest K-pop group MV to hit 50 million views.

The previous record time was 14 days and 18 hours for BLACKPINK’s “As If It’s Your Last” MV.

Meanwhile, the music video for “DNA” has already gained over 2.1 million likes.
