GFRIEND's Yerin To Temporarily Halt Activities Due To Appendicitis

GFRIEND’s Yerin will be temporarily halting her activities as she has been diagnosed with appendicitis.

Source Music released an official statement through GFRIEND’s fan cafe and wrote, “Yerin will temporarily be unable to participate in GFRIEND’s promotional activities. During the SBS Global K-pop Super Concert on September 24, Yerin complained of abdominal pain. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was diagnosed with appendicitis.”

They continued to add, “Though her condition is not serious enough to require surgery, the doctors informed Yerin that she must rest as she will need to undergo surgery if her condition worsens. Therefore, we have come to the decision to have Yerin temporarily sit out from GFRIEND’s activities that are scheduled from September 28 to October 1. We hope that fans are understanding of this decision that we have made for Yerin’s health.”

GFRIEND recently released their “Rainbow” repackage album and are currently promoting their title track “Summer Rain.”
