Han Hyo Joo Makes Donation To Help Sick Children

Han Hyo Joo recently did a good deed for children with illnesses.

On September 26, Han Hyo Joo attended a campaign at Cheonggye Plaza in Seoul for 2017’s Green Umbrella Angel Day. Ever since this past May, Han Hyo Joo has teamed up with Green Umbrella Children Foundation to participate in a project called “Wearing Dreams Day By Day” where they gifted 1,004 sick children with clothes they designed themselves.

Han Hyo Joo donated 10.04 million won (approximately $8,778) to children who have to fight illnesses alone in their hospital rooms. The number “1,004” is used by the campaign because it sounds like the word “angel” in Korean.

She said, “I hope there will continue to be warm interest and help so that the children will not lose their hopes and dreams, even in difficult circumstances.”
