Pianist Yiruma Shares Thoughts On Chanyeol's Impromptu Rendition Of "River Flows In You"
When Vogue Korea shared a special clip of EXO’s Chanyeol playing the piano, it caught the eye of someone special!
EXO’s Chanyeol recently worked with the magazine in collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger while he was out of the country for London Fashion Week. With his pictorial set to be revealed in its November issue, Vogue Korea gave a behind-the-scenes look from the shoot through a special clip beforehand.
The video notably features Chanyeol playing Yiruma’s famous piano piece “River Flows in You” as background music. The singer has proven how much he likes the tune, having played it during variety show appearances, when he was alone in his studio, and even while waiting backstage.
Yiruma himself came across this video and left a thankful message for the idol. Similar to his English message, the pianist wrote in Korean, “I was surprised after seeing this video. The way he looks while playing is best described as nice and gentle. Should I say it feels like I’ve known him for a while? Thank you Chanyeol.”
Chanyeol later replied, “I love you..”
Meanwhile, EXO is currently preparing for their fourth solo concert tour, which set to begin with their Seoul concerts in November.
