Watch: "The Unit" Contestants Move Mentors To Tears In Preview For First Episode

“The Unit” has previewed a rollercoaster of emotions in a teaser for the first episode.

In the video, contestants including former SPICA member Yang Jiwon and BIGSTAR’s Feeldog stun the judges with their impressive performances. Rain exclaims in response, “Where have you been until now?”

One contestant then says, “I want to show that people that don’t give up will win,” and clips are shown of contestants going through various mixed emotions. The mentors are touched by their performances and stories, and Taemin sheds tears as he comments, “I really don’t cry usually.”

The teaser ends with Rain stating to a contestant, “‘The Unit’ is here in order to give opportunities to people like you.”

“The Unit” airs its first episode on October 28 at 9:15 p.m. KST via KBS.
