DIA's Jung Chaeyeon To Be A Torchbearer For 2018 Winter Olympics
On November 6, DIA’s Jung Chaeyeon will run as a torchbearer in Busan for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.
From November 1 to February 9 of next year, which marks the beginning of the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games, the torch will be carried by 7,500 people around Korea for a total of 2018 km (approximately 1,300 miles).
Other torchbearers in the relay include Yoo Jae Suk, Kim Yuna, Suzy, VIXX’s N and Leo, with more stars expected to participate. The torch will be carried in Busan from November 4 to 6, and the first torchbearer in the city will be 2017 Sapporo Asian Games short track gold medalist Kim Geon Hee.
Jung Chaeyeon relayed her thoughts on being a torchbearer. She said, “I am so excited and nervous. I will work hard while wishing for the success of the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.”
