Watch: MONSTA X Takes Emotional 1st Ever Win On “The Show,” Performances By EXID And More

MONSTA X has won their first ever music show trophy!

On the November 14 episode of “The Show,” MONSTA X’s “Dramarama” was up against EXID’s “DDD” and Block B’s “Shall We Dance” for the win. MONSTA X took first place for the first time since their 2015 debut with a total score of 7,400. EXID came in second place with 6,865 points while Block B had a total score of 6,609.

MONSTA X looked completely shocked by the win, and leader Shownu tried to begin a thank you speech but became too emotional to continue.

Jooheon took over and said, “This is our first time winning an award on a music show! We’ve won after finishing our first world tour. Firstly, we’re so, so grateful. Thank you to all the Monbebe who support us!”

Shownu then thanked the group’s parents, their agency staff, and fans. Minhyuk said through tears, “I was so surprised. Thank you so much. We’ve been working hard together since our comeback show, thank you for giving us this trophy!”
