7 Things We Loved And 3 Things We Hated About "Because This Is My First Life" Episodes 11 And 12

I can hardly contain the feels from this past week’s episodes of “Because This Is My First Life.” This drama has continued to deliver in terms of quality writing, and it’s safe to say that we’re falling more in love with the characters and story as the weeks progress. This past week had a huge turn of events that had our hearts cheering. Here’s a look at the seven things we loved and the three things we didn’t love so much about this past week’s episodes.

1. Loved: Mr. Ma and Soo Ji progress in their relationship

I love seeing the dynamics between Mr. Ma (Park Byung Eun) and Soo Ji (Esom). Maybe it’s because we know that Soo Ji deserves all the love in the world and that if she just gave him a chance, she’d be so happy. Isn’t their chemistry adorable?!

2. Hated: Seeing Soo Ji being sexually harassed at her workplace

What PIGS.

3. But loved: How she stuck up for herself!

4. Hated: How Won Seok and Rang are struggling

Even though they’re not the main couple, Won Seok (Kim Min Suk) and Rang (Kim Ga Eun) seem to be a very realistic and relatable couple. Just when they seemed to have all their problems figured out last week, this couple is faced with more issues. I hated seeing Rang’s mother pressuring Won Seok. I really wish the pair would be able to take their time getting married without being pestered by people around them!

5. Loved: Se Hee in kimchi making mode

Even though Ji Ho’s (Jung So Min) dad seemed adamant about Se Hee (Lee Min Ki) having a drink while the older women made kimchi, Se Hee put his foot down and stayed true to his word. He worked hard to make up for the work that Ji Ho did while she was at his parents’ place. This shows loyalty and integrity, which is something we can all appreciate in his character. It’s also rare that we see a man do this job in the drama world, but something we should see more often!

6. Loved: How genuinely happy Se Hee was to see Ji Ho

It’s like he was being rescued from a dark place.

7. REALLY REALLY LOVED: That kiss scene.

“That wasn’t really a kiss. This is a kiss.”

FINALLY. We are able to see Se Hee’s genuine feelings towards Ji Ho. We knew he liked her, but couldn’t be too sure, so we’re obviously happy that he’s revealed his feelings. The scene was just so romantic, so perfect, and it’ll go down as being one of the best kiss scenes ever.

YAAAAAAS.

8. Hated: Seeing more about Se Hee’s ex-girlfriend (Lee Chung Ah)

We finally get a glimpse into Se Hee’s history and why he turned out to be the rigid and realistic man he is. And although we can accept the fact that he has a past, let’s hope this past doesn’t sabotage or get in the way of all the love and feelings between Se Hee and Ji Ho in the present!

9. LOVED: Se Hee being a good boyfriend

It’s the first time in the series we see Se Hee wearing his heart on his sleeve, and we’re here for it. It was too cute seeing him awkwardly try and take Ji Ho out on a date. Were you squealing with joy? Because I was.

10. ESPECIALLY LOVED: the “but…”

Just when Ji Ho was about to go to bed alone, Se Hee stopped her door from closing.

Our hearts were so not prepared for the question he asked after he walked through her doorway.

Did you hear that? It was the sound of Se Hee’s walls crashing down.
