Kang Daniel's Mother Reveals How She Made His Shoulders So Broad

On the November 17 episode of Mnet’s “Wanna One Go: Zero Base,” the members revealed their daily lives outside of being Wanna One members.

Kang Daniel took the day to go to Busan to spend the day with his mother. After eating lunch together, his mother commented, “I think you doing 100 push-ups really worked.”

Kang Daniel had previously gained attention for having the broadest shoulders amongst Wanna One members. He thanked his mother for making his shoulders broad.

It was then revealed that when Kang Daniel was young, his mother made him do 100 push-ups every day. The two laughed and reminisced about how small he used to be. Kang Daniel commented, “I was such a kid! When I ran I looked like a girl,” to which his mother responded, “But look how well you turned out now.”

Kang Daniel then took his mother shopping. She initially protested and said it’s too expensive, but he insisted and firmly stated, “It’s what I want to do.” He takes her into the store and reassures her, saying it’s alright and treats her.
