Super Junior Continues To Be Korean Wave Kings With Asian Chart Results For “Black Suit”

Super Junior’s new eighth album “PLAY” has proven to be another “Korean Wave” hit!

The album and its title track “Black Suit” were released on November 6, and “Black Suit” has maintained the No. 1 spot on the Korean music chart on KKbox in Taiwan. KKbox is the largest music site in many Asian regions.

Meanwhile, “Black Suit” is No. 1 on the weekly KKbox Korean music charts in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore this week.

Super Junior famously has reigned at No. 1 on the Taiwanese KKbox Korean music chart for a whopping 121 weeks, from the first week of June in 2010 to the third week of September in 2012.

Meanwhile, Super Junior will be celebrating the fact that they surpassed 200,000 album sales for “PLAY” on November 20 by hosting a home shopping special where they’ll be selling black jackets.
