CLC Recognized For Promoting Awareness About Childhood Diabetes
Girl group CLC was commemorated with an emblem from the mayor of Seoul for their volunteer work.
On November 18, the Korean National Assembly held its annual Childhood Diabetes Academic Forum and Scholarship Presentation in the Constitutional Memorial Hall located inside of the National Assembly Building. This event was held in conjunction with World Diabetes Day (November 14) as designated by the UN. CLC was recognized at the event for promoting awareness about childhood diabetes and their volunteer work.
CLC said, “It has been a meaningful opportunity being able to spend time with children with diabetes since being appointed as the ambassador for childhood diabetes awareness last year. We were happy being able to just be with the children and are embarrassed to receive a special commendation from the mayor of Seoul. We will continue to work hard for children with childhood diabetes.”
Meanwhile, CLC ended promotions for their sixth mini album “FREE’SM” in August, and are currently busy with end-of-the-year events and preparations for their new album.
Congratulations to CLC!
