SHINee's Minho Transforms Into An Immature, Rebellious Son In Stills For Upcoming Drama Special

One day before its premiere date, tvN released stills of SHINee’s Minho from the upcoming weekend drama “The World’s Most Beautiful Goodbye” (literal translation).

A remake of a classic, “The World’s Most Beautiful Goodbye” tells the story of a middle-aged wife and mother who has been sacrificing her entire life for her family.  She becomes diagnosed with terminal cancer and prepares to say goodbye to her family.

Minho plays the role of Jung Soo, a partying rebel who is in the middle of his third attempt of getting accepted to medical school. Despite his kind nature, he’s the troublemaker of the family. His childish character will mature after finding out his mother doesn’t have much time to live.

The released stills prove just how troublesome Minho’s character Jung Soo is. He can be seen partying until the late hours of the night and coming home drunk. His mother (played by Won Mi Kyung) looks distressed as she makes an effort to bring him back to his senses. He falls asleep in the clothes he wore to the club, and when he wakes up, he looks around with guilty eyes.

The four-part series will air on December 9 at 9 p.m. KST.
